Multi-Objective Optimization of Distribution Networks via Daily Reconfiguration

This paper presents a comprehensive approach to improve the daily performance of an active distribution network (ADN), which includes renewable resources and responsive loads (RLs), using reconfiguration (DNR). The optimization objectives considered in this work can be described as (i) reducing losses, (ii) improving voltage profile, (iii) reliability, (iv) minimizing operation costs. proposed also accounts for probability resource failure given information collected from their initial state at beginning each day. Furthermore, solar radiation variations are estimated based on past historical data, impact such photovoltaics (PVs) is determined hourly Markov model. Since number scenarios very large, stochastic DNR (SDNR) distance method employed shrink set, before self-adaptive modified crow search algorithm (SAMCSA) introduced find optimal scenario. Finally, IEEE 33-bus radial system 86-bus Taiwan Power Company (TPC) investigated two case studies verify effectiveness method.
